For the past 11 years my day to day life has revolved around my handicapped son, Gregory.
Dealing with his needs has been a challenge. Many of the problems have been ones of basic
communication and sourcing the right people and right equipment.
'I am interested in building up a network of people and services aimed at assisting disabled
people and their caregivers'.

With an inclination to massmedia, Simon has a keen interest in brand, events and
production management. He has worked immensely with Ladysmith Black Mambazo,
Tourism KZN, Ithala Development Bank and Break Thru Dance Company.
He is currently working as the Managing Editor of THISABILITY, a disability awareness
tabloid, and has interest in film having been involved in the locally produced and directed
film productions like The Puzzle, Kwaito Church Service and The Parasite.
