IT was glitz and glamour at the Mr and Miss Albinism Southern Africa pageant held at the Harare International Conference Centre on Saturday, the 14th of October, 2023.

Angola’s Andreia Muhitu was crowned Miss Albinism Southern Africa while Zimbabwe’s Ntandoyenkosi Mnkandla was named Mr Albinism Southern Africa at a colourful event which saw nine African countries participating.

Angela Dube from Zimbabwe was crowned 1st princess with Susan Phiri from Zambia being named 2nd princess.

South Africa scooped Miss Personality and People’s Choice titles, while Angola’s Arthur Mukonda was crowned Mr Personality.

The African attire proved to be the favourite of many and was a platform to showcase African diversity through dressing.

The event which was graced by representatives from countries including Lesotho, Zambia, Malawi, and Nigeria, was punctuated with music and dance.
