To celebrate Human Rights Day, the South African Disability Alliance (SADA) and the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) invite you to an extraordinary evening celebrating the resilience, achievements, and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
The Persons with Disabilities 2024 Annual Gala promises to be a night of inspiration, recognition, and festivity. Prepare to be moved by the incredible stories of “The Unstoppables”, – a SADA-sponsored e-book featuring 18 powerful narratives of individuals who have triumphed over disabilities, showcasing their extraordinary lives.
The evening will honour trailblazers with the prestigious SADA Lifetime Achievement Award and SADA Lifetime Service Award, recognizing their profound impact on the disability sector through personal achievements and selfless service.
Attendees will also witness the launch of SADA’s new marketing initiative, spotlighting member organizations dedicated to uplifting the lives of people with disabilities across South Africa. Additionally, the Intersectoral Action Plan on Epilepsy and Other Neurological Disorders (IGAP) booklet will be unveiled, furthering awareness and action on these critical issues.
