International experts head to Cape Town and Johannesburg for the 2026 Integrative Mental Health Symposium

Five internationally recognised clinicians, researchers and performance specialists from South Africa, Australia, India and the United States will share the stage at the Integrative Mental Health Symposium this August, in what promises to be one of the year’s most substantial conversations on brain health, resilience and mental wellbeing.

Hosted by South African health science company Natroceutics, with support from FIRST/LIGHT and Fagron, the CPD-accredited Integrative Mental Health Symposium takes place in Cape Town on Saturday, 29 August 2026, and in Johannesburg on Sunday, 30 August 2026.

The timing is deliberate. Mental health has become one of the defining healthcare challenges of our generation, and clinicians are increasingly looking beyond the treatment of illness to understand how nutrition, inflammation, sleep, lifestyle and resilience shape long-term mental wellbeing. The Integrative Mental Health Symposium brings that research into one room, drawing on psychiatry, clinical psychology, nutritional science, phytopharmaceutical research and human performance.

The programme is designed for healthcare professionals, practitioners, pharmacists and wellness leaders, and attendees registered with the HPCSA can earn SAMA-accredited CPD and CEU points. Beyond the presentations, the day offers space to question the faculty directly and to connect with peers working across the mental health field.
