Tshepo Nkadimeng’s tour, officially launching on the 21st of September 2024 at the Mamokgalake Sports Ground in Motetema, promises to be a revival experience.
Tshepo is a South African visually impaired gospel singer, songwriter, and actor known for his prominence in the popular radio drama soapie, Mahlakung, where he plays the character of Sakkie Makhometja on Thobela FM since 2016. He is also part of the musical theatre show “Lifted- Let the Blind Sing“.
Born and bred in a rural village of Tshehlwaneng in the province of Limpopo, Tshepo lost his eyesight at the tender age of seven. He spent most of his childhood attending school at Siloe School for the Blind and Setotolwane ELSEN Secondary School, where his singing talent was discovered. He later entered several talent appearances, namely, the Southern African Disabled Musician Talent Search (SADMA) and
the Limpopo Talent Show hosted by the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, where he received his breakthrough. Tshepo is also a former contestant of the popular music reality show and most loved Dstv’s Mzansi Magic, Clash of the Choirs South Africa. He was part of the team that was representing Limpopo province, led by choirmaster and renowned afro-pop and jazz songstress, Judith Sephuma.
Tshepo has graced many musical stages and performed with the best talents in the country, which include the internationally acclaimed MTN Joyous Celebration at their 22nd, 23rd and 24th album recordings with his three hit singles, Lentsu la Gago , Legodimong, and Shomela Jehova.
In addition, Tshepo Nkadimeng has shared the stage with many artists and groups, like Worship House, Tshwane Gospel Choir. He has performed at Mapungubwe Jazz and Gospel Festivals, the International Day of People with Disabilities, and Thobela FM
Gospel Festival, Marula Arts Festival, Dr Winnie Mashaba Annual Moral Regeneration Concert, We Can Arts Festival and others.
On 21 September, Tshepo will be performing at Motetema, Mamokgalake Sports Ground, alongside award-winning Gospel artists such as Secheba Pali, Gospel singer-psalmist Sefako, renowned worshiper Kgaogelo Kekana, and music legend Babsy Mlangeni
and many more.
The music event promises to be uplifting and revitalizing. Tshepo affirms that the audience can expect beautiful music and motivational messages from many worshippers and artists on the day. Tshepo, who finds comfort in gospel music, says; ‘’Gospel music gives me spiritual comfort, and it soothes my mind and soul in many ways.
